Big Mama

Cincinnati, Ohio is known for several famous people and many historical events. However, wrestling fans who live in that area care about only one thing, and that is The Northern Wrestling Federation.

The wrestling promotion’s school is called Bonekrushers and it has produced some big names in the sport. Wrestlers like The Monster Abyss, Jillian Hall, Chris Harris, Karl Anderson, Jordan Clearwater, and Lord Crewe have all gotten their start there. It’s an impressive list, but it wouldn’t be complete if you don’t put Big Mama’s name on there too!

Big Mama has been wrestling for 16 years and she has performed for NWA Power, Shimmer, Rise, OVW, Mission Pro, and a handful of other companies.

“It’s a very exciting time and I am trying to enjoy all the moments that I am having,” Big Mama said.

Over the last couple of years, Big Mama has been traveling to different states. Fans have seen her wrestle in Michigan, Delaware, Tennessee, and Indiana. This is allowing her to make more business connections and build her fanbase.

A decade and a half may sound like a long time in pro wrestling; however, some people might wonder why she is just now experiencing a new found success. Big Mama explains it like this. “I came to the point where I saw all the stuff I did very poorly when I was younger. Now, I am applying all the things that I have learned over the years,” Big Mama continues. “It feels like all the light bulbs are going off and everything is just clicking.”

While juggling all of the priorities that comes with being an adult, Big Mama stays busy. The wife, mother, and full-time worker also makes the time to frequent Bonekrushers wrestling facility. Not only does she go there to keep her skills sharp, but she also provides her knowledge and encouragement to the new trainees.

Big Mama has a lot of wisdom and experience that she can offer to any athlete or company in pro wrestling. She not only knows how to handle herself in the ring, but Big Mama also understands the aspects of wrestling as it pertains to the business side of things, and for the television production. Big Mama’s evolution to becoming a valuable contributor to pro wrestling has taken time, but she is okay with that.

“If all the things that I am experiencing now would have come to me earlier in my career, I don’t think I would still be doing this,” Big Mama smiled. “I love everything that is happening to me in pro wrestling, and now I just want more of it.”
