IN RING SEGMENT
The Grayson Waller Effect. Special guest Cody Rhodes.
Waller interrupted Rhodes’ ring entrance routine. Then harped on Rhodes saying, he is conceited individual and makes everything about himself. Also, that Rhodes wasn’t really a good friend to Randy Orton or Kevin Owens. Rhodes fired back at Waller and stated that if anyone was a phony friend, that was using their friend to get ahead, it was Waller. At that time Austin Theory (who was standing behind Waller looking at himself posing in the monitor) ears perked up and was now interested in what was being said. Waller became defensive and shut Rhodes down by now turning his attention to the history of Owens past backstabs, on several supposed friends. Waller had a video montage of Owens turning on people like Kofi Kingston, Zane, etc. Right after the video was done playing Owens came to ringside and basically said, there were reasons things went down with those guys and at the time they deserved it. He then called for Nick Aldis and requested a tag team match tonight. Aldis, of course, came out and made the match official.

MATCH#1
L A Knight (U S C) vs. Santos Escobar w/Legado del Fantasma
For the United States Championship
Before the opening bell even rung, Berto & Angel ran to Knight and started beating him up. Referee Jessica Carr ejected Berto & Angel from the ring. this upset Electra Lopez, and she got in Carr’s face and started yelling at her. Carr then ejected Lopez from ringside as well.
WINNER- and still U.S. Champion, L A Knight.
Via pinfall- after dropping a huge elbow from the top turnbuckle and hitting Escobar with the BFT.

VIDEO SEGMENT

PRE-RECORDED SEGMENT
Hayes stating that Andrade should be thanking HIM for keeping him relevant. At that time Andrade came busting into the interview and while being held from any physical retaliation, Andrade said you’re being very disrespectful, and I will see you next week and settle this.

Santos Escobar reprimanding Legado del Fantasma for getting themselves ejected from ringside tonight. Apollo Crews & Baron Corbin entered the scene and began mocking Escobar for tonight’s loss against Knight. Escobar told Crews & Corbin we shall see. He said , “I’m going to talk with Nick Aldis, and we’ll see you next week”

Before the match got underway, Solo Sikoa made Jacob Fatu turn his tag belt over to Tonga Loa and said “Jacob, you are now my personal enforcer”, Jacob complied.

L A Knight telling Byron Saxton that he successfully defended his championship tonight and he will again at Bash in Berlin.

DRESSING ROOM SEGMENT
Rhodes & Owens getting ready for their match against A-Town Down Under.
Owens was saying to Rhodes that he can trust him and that what he said earlier about his past “friends” getting what they deserved doesn’t apply to him and he’ll always have Rhodes back. Rhodes told Owens, “All I can do is take your word for it Kevin”.

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Nia Jax telling Tiffany Stratton & Pretty Deadly that Michin made a huge mistake touching and breaking her crown. Michin is going to get the bearing of a lifetime. Stratton & Pretty Deadly left the scene, however just around the corner, you could see Chelsea Green & Piper Niven talking. Jax was in earshot and could hear them saying that they are sure that before long, you’ll see Stratton cashing in her Money in the Bank contract on Jax for the women’s championship. Jax came around the corner and the 2 immediately shut up as Jax tried to assure them they were wrong.

Via pinfall – after Owens hit Waller with a pop up powerbomb and the pin.
After the match was over and Waller & Theory were retreating up the ramp, Cody was facing the ramp looking at the defeated opponents and Owens picked up Rhodes championship belt and held it. Owens then began to sprint across the ring at Rhodes as if to hit him with the belt. But then shoved it into Rhodes’ chest and leaned on the ropes and yelled trash at Waller & Theory.
